Instructor-to-student ratios are low, consistent with our policy of being able to personalize every service we provide. In addition, each of our programs incorporates substantial one-on-one time with an instructor and every student's progress is evaluated by our entire staff to further ensure we are doing our best to facilitate your best.
8-hour SAT S.O.S (Save Our Scores) - 3 days, $550. This is a crash course designed specifically for those who need to jump into action at the last minute or just prefer to cram. This 3-day marathon begins on Wed (7-9), continues on Thurs (7-9), and ends on Fri (5-9), and is offered during the weeks immediately preceding the SAT. Materials provided, limit 5 students per class.
12-hour SAT Math Only Prep Course - 6 weeks, 1 day per week, $850. For those whose priority is a high score on the math portion of the SAT, this course offers a review of pertinent mathematical and statistical principles, skills conditioning, strategic use of mathematical modeling, guided practice on actual SATs, and expert feedback on test performance. Also, using our online score projection software, students are able to monitor score improvement by the hour.
12-hour SAT Reading Only Prep Course - 6 weeks, 1 day per week, $850. On a standardized test you need to read faster, read less, and read smarter. This course focuses on rapid interpretation and analysis of reading passages and related questions, development of competency in the correct use and interpretation of language, and the identification/interpolation of evidence supporting inference or conjecture. As with our math tutorial, online testing software is used to predict scores and facilitate improved performance.
18-hour SAT Combined Math/Reading/Writing Prep Course - 9 weeks, 1 day per week, $1,250. This is a two-month tutorial designed to address all parts of the SAT except the optional essay. The mathematics portion cultivates competencies in algebra, number sense and advanced computation, while the reading/writing/language part addresses reading proficiency and comprehension, correct grammar & language usage, and judicious evaluation of written arguments.
24-hour SAT Comprehensive Prep Course - 12 weeks, 1 or 2 days per week, $1,550. This is a comprehensive SAT tutorial incorporating all three branches of the test, including the extemporaneous essay. The course is designed to flex with a student's current and desired level of competence in each of the areas of math, reading, language analysis and evidence-based writing.
24-hour SAT Saturdays Only Prep Course - 4 weeks, 1 day per week, $1,550. This comprehensive class meets on four consecutive Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm. The format and pace of the course are intended to promote expert competence on all three branches of the test but on a more condensed schedule than the 12-week comprehensive tutorial option above. Enrollment limited to 3 students.
12-hour SAT Group Prep Course - 6 weeks, 1 day per week, $650. Often we learn as much from observing others as we do working things out ourselves. This is an opportunity to join other SAT-letes on 6 consecutive Saturdays for a group workout on select strategies, shortcuts, formats and formulas that favor greater confidence and higher test scores. Meets weekly 10:00 to noon.
12-hour PSAT Group Prep Course - 6 weeks, 1 day per week, $650. Juniors, get ready for the fall PSAT by enrolling now in our Aug-Sep PSAT group prep. Designed to focus on delimiting content, managing time and boosting accuracy, this course works against a backdrop of both peer input and professional guidance. Don't miss this opportunity to make a statement with your scores. Colleges are watching! Meets weekly on Mondays, 6-7:30 in Aug and Sept.
24-hour ACT Prep Course - 12 weeks, 1 day per week, $1,550. Unlike the SAT, the ACT is a fast-paced, skill-oriented standardized test, where the emphasis is on speed and proper execution rather than on interpretation and reasoning. This course will familiarize you with all four areas of the ACT (math, science, reading, and English) and present techniques for controlling errors as you learn to manage both the test and the clock.
5-hour Block Tutoring - Prepaid $300. Meet with instructor as needed. Sign up for 5 hours of prepaid tutoring to be redeemed as needed for help with homework, test prep, former test review, or just to catch up in a course. Subject areas include math, science and literature. Blocks are renewable.
5-hour AP/IB/Honors Tutoring - Prepaid $300. Meet with instructor as needed. Purchase a block of 5 hours of tutoring that you can use in a week, a month, or over the entire school year to boost your understanding and competence in your advanced placement, international baccalaureate, or honors classes, or spend them practicing for upcoming exams. Blocks are renewable.
10-hour AP/IB/Honors Tutoring} - Prepaid $550. Same as the 5-hour program above, only includes a block of 10 hours and a 10 percent hourly rate discount.
30-hour (Full Semester) AP/IB/Honors Tutoring - Prepaid $1,450. Meet with an instructor on a regular basis 2 hours per week for continuous course and homework support.
SAT Mathematics or Literature Subject Test - (by appointment, hourly rate applies, currently $75, minimum 8 hours, prepaid). For those students whose intended colleges require or recommend evidence of the applicant's advanced competency in math or literature. Please call our office to schedule an appointment.

AP Calculus I & II Weekly Recitation, Semester Long - 16 weeks, 1 day per week, $1,200-. Calculus serves as a foundation for all studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). So get ahead early and stay ahead by meeting weekly as a group with a qualified instructor. Get answers to difficult or puzzling questions, close conceptual gaps, study for upcoming tests & quizzes, and prepare optimally for spring AP exams. Begins weekly on second Monday of semester, 6:00-7:30 pm.
AP Statistics Weekly Recitation, Semester Long - 16 weeks, 1 day per week, $1,200. Statistics can be enjoyable but it's also a different — and often counterintuitive — way of thinking about data and number relationships. It is therefore wise to cultivate a deeper understanding of "statistical thinking" by engaging in frequent discussions about concepts and methods with other students. This workshop provides opportunities for doing just that. Meanwhile a qualified instructor is on hand to field questions, explain theory, address homework and outline what lies ahead. Begins weekly on second Friday of semester, 6:00-7:30 pm.
12-hour College Application Essay Workshop - 4 weeks, 1 day per week OR Sundays only, $800. Nothing says more about you than your college essays! In this workshop, we will help you decide how to choose from the list of essay questions on the Common Application, show you how to develop a useful essay outline, give you pointers on showcasing your personality effectively, and provide useful feedback on all your drafts. In each class you will also have multiple opportunities to examine and critique actual essays written by successful college applicants that reveal the surprising range of creative approaches possible.
24-hour College Application Completion Workshop - 4 or 8 weeks, 2 or 3 days per week, $1,500. College application deadlines have a way of sneaking up on you, even when you have the best of intentions. This course combines the 12-hour college essay workshop and an application completion workshop designed to get your applications done and in the mail before the due date. In this combined course, you'll write your personal essay and brief responses for the Common Application, prepare a resume to attach, write requests for letters of recommendation, and complete and submit your entire application package ahead of schedule. Then you get to ... relax and watch everyone else scramble to meet those deadlines!
